Experience & Expertise

I am constantly searching for new stories to provide my readers with accurate information to help them: discover new destinations, take a closer look at ones they've visited before, and make the most of travel.

With you advance press materials, I contact editors I work with on a regular basis and query new ones to gain as many confirmed assignments as possible before a trip.

While on a trip, I always discover new story angles. Depending on the times available, I take photos and either interview people or jot down the necessary first-person impressions thatI need to query an editor. Once I get a go-ahead, I follow up with telephone interviews.

In addition, I actively take notes about a destination so that I can place this information in my database to develop the story when I come across an appropriate market in the future.

Accuracy is critical to me. I work closely with sources to ensure that I quote them accurately and tell their stories correctly.

Because I know how important it is for you to provide your clients with positive feedback, I am meticulous about sending you tearsheets.

I am a travel professional. I realize that I am your guest during a fam trip and act accordingly to reassure your clients that you are bringing them journalists who will work to share their stories with others.

I look forward to working with you.
