Introduction

I am a freelance writer and photographer with a special (but not exclusive) interest in Latin America. My travel articles and photos have been appearing in newspapers and major magazines for almost 25 years. Publications that I have written for recently include Américas, a magazine published by the Organization of American States, Wildlife Conservation, official magazine of the Wildlife Conservation Society; up!, the inflight magazine of WestJet airlines; and atmosphere, Air Transat's inflight magazine. I am also a regular contributor to The News , an English-language newspaper published in Mexico City, plus I have provided travel content for websites and updated and authored numerous online travel guides for companies such as Northstar Travel Media and TimeOut.com.
