Introduction

I’m a contributing editor for National Geographic Traveler and a veteran travel writer for the past two decades. My work has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, the Atlantic Monthly, Conde Nast Traveler, Fast Company, and Wired. I have written about sheepherding trials in Ireland, the first-ever conference of authors in the “For Dummies” series of guidebooks, the rebuilding of New Orleans, and my family tradition of attending Opening Day at Yankee Stadium.

The clips on this page represent a small portion of my work. Many publications do not make their content available online forever or at all.

Please e-mail me at johnrosenthal@verizon.net if you'd like hard copies of any of my clips. I look forward to talking to you soon.

John Rosenthal
