Introduction

I am presently working as the editor of two travel magazines in Auckland, new Zealand which has me travellig about 15 times a year. I started writing when I back-packed through South East Asia at the end of my first year at university. After helping start an English school for impoverished kids in the meaner suburbs of Saigon, I was determined to write and try and make a difference. My latest assignment was to Phuket after the tsunami, to try and get New Zealander's to realise the true context in which the damage they saw on television, was occuring. I am 24 and based in Auckland.

Experience & Expertise

I have 12 years full time magazine and newspaper experience, including most recently a two year stint as the travel editor for the South China Morning Post, Asia's largest English language daily. I have written for over 60 magazines globally, and do a weekly radio show from my base in Hong Kong.
