Introduction
I am a published writer and photographer, practicing both for over 25 years. My work has appeared in numerous magazines, newspapers, books, and several web sites. I delight in discovering a new locale and bringing it to life. If a reader is inspired to visit a place I've reviewed, it's the ultimate compliment. I began my study of photography while studying art at UCSB. I am primarily self-trained, and delight in breaking the rules of imagery. It is my view that you don't need great equipment to take good pictures. You need a good eye. As I writer, I began in high school. My poems were published in a number of anthologies when I was in college, with my first book published during that time as well. Primarily, I specialize in international destinations that have luxury accommodations, coupled with adventure. I also interview professional photographers for a number of professional photography magazines, and do many other styles of writing. My travels have taken me to such places as: Bora Bora, Barbados, Ixtapa, Vienna, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, England, Wales, France, Mexico, as well as several domestic destinations. I always welcome discovering new areas and bringing them to life.
