Introduction

After living, writing and editing in Australia for five years, I decided to come back to England, and I wish someone would turn the heating up.

I am now a full time travel writer, writing mainly for the Australian dailies, but for a selection of other publications too.

One of my firm beliefs is that travel writing doesn't have to be dull and worthy. Too often, it is just boring, and this is so sad. My aim is to always provide copy that is a good read - and that means both shedding light on a place and entertaining the reader.
