Experience & Expertise
I specialize in writing about horses and equestrian sport, and have provided articles about horse-related travel experiences to a vast array of equestrian and general-interest publications. (Examples: riding with the Bermuda Hunt Club, island pony racing, Italy's medieval Palio horse race.)
Am also interested in providing coverage for any adventure with a nature, cultural, or historical theme -- wildlife conservation, working with camels, llamas, or other exotic creatures, nature preserves, historical or archaeological expeditions, art, theatre, festivals.
My photographs have appeared in over a dozen publications as well as three calendars, so I'm well-equipped to illustrate my own stories.
Publishing Credentials
Published in over 40 different magazines and newspapers in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Bermuda, including: Cavallo, The Bermudian, Century Home, Spur, the Canadian Sportsman, L'Annee Hippique, Equus, Practical Horseman, Stable Management, Horse International, the Orangeville Citizen, Tack n' Togs, the Chronicle of the Horse, Horse and Hound, the Corinthian, Horse Illustrated, Equine Athlete, many others. I'm also the author of six non-fiction books.
