Introduction
BIO SUSAN R. NORTON Please let me introduce myself. I am a travel writer and love it: the travel, the writing, the deadlines, and have been published in magazines, newspapers and on several Internet sites. Her work has appeared in such publications as: The Southern Poetry Review, Writer’s World Magazine, Silver Quill, The Knews and read on National Public Radio. I have received 10 awards in writing. Along with co-author, Susan Dawson, we wrote a seven book Easy Reader series for children, titled Pyramid Pal’s Adventures In Eating to teach and encourage healthy eating habits in kids through the introduction of fun cartoon food characters. It was written in rhymed couplets and published in June, 2000. As of 2007, over 40,000 copies have been sold. It has now been published in a coloring book format. I have expanded my talents to travel memoir/nonfiction, With her two sons grown and raising their families in San Diego, she has become a master at “Drive By Mothering” with a present motto of Have Laptop, Will Travel.
