Introduction

I am the Feature Writer for Business Travel on Suite101.com. The online magazine has more than 10 million visitors monthly. I source my own topics for articles and blog posts and since I am responsible for publishing at least one article a week, I am always looking for new ideas.

I started freelance writing full-time in spring 2005. Since then, I have been published in regional and national magazines and newspapers. I have a story appearing in a book coming out in fall 2008. I blog regularly on the rose city journal.

Most of my day-to-day work is focused on doing organic search engine optimization (SEO), public relations and Web content strategy for clients around the world. I recently relocated to Portland, Oregon to be close to family and I am loving the Pacific Northwest. I have a BA in English and Political Science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
