A freelance writer and editor based in Istanbul, I write about travel, arts and culture. I have written for Time Out Istanbul, Qatar Airways' Oryx magazine, Literary Traveler, Today's Zaman and other publications, and am the city editor of and a contributing writer to SHOP Istanbul magazine. I helped update the 2009 edition of Fodor’s Turkey guidebook, for which I researched restaurants, hotels, nightlife and shopping in Istanbul and traveled around central Turkey, and have also written for Fodors.com.
