Experience & Expertise
I am primarily an outdoor/adventure travel writer, with an emphasis on attainable adventures (i.e., activities that don't require years of experience or a death wish). My writing focuses on affordable, realistic travel, with activities that are fun, moderately athletic, and off the beaten path wherever possible. To date, I have visited an erupting volcano in Iceland, climbed an active volcano in Bali, learned to surf and scuba dive in Australia, and skated the longest skating rink in the world in Canada. My blog, AnywhereButHere, is at http://tammyburns.wordpress.com.
