Introduction

I've been a happy resident of San Diego since 1980, when I left my birthplace back East and started my 28-year career in public relations at the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau. During my long tenure with the Bureau, I wore many hats. But the one I wore best was when I served as a creative writer and scenic photographer, using photos and the written word to capture San Diego’s beauty and desirability as a vacation destination. My San Diego photos appear on web sites and in publications around the world. My travel articles and photos have been published in a variety of outlets nationally and internationally. Just a simple Google click on my name will attest to the fact that I am a travel writer/photographer with a long history of producing creative photography, not to speak of my many contributions as a travel business writer as well as leisure travel journalist. I work together with my husband, Tony DiBona, who is a highly talented photographer who contributes to our photo portfolio. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to help destinations around the world attract visitors through a well-written and photographed travel article. I have every hope my work as a travel writer and photogapher will generate interest in traveling to the destinations I write about and encourage dialogue and exchange of ideas among my readers. The World Wide Web has opened up an entirely new world of communication, and I am so excited to be able to jump on the internet train for what I know will be a truly incredible journey!
