Introduction
Blessed with a double dose of genetic wanderlust, I love to explore. My pioneering parents took me to Alaska when I was thirteen where I became firmly grounded in nature. From there I journeyed back to proud California, where I obtained a degree in English Literature. Today I am a free-lance writer, based in Los Angeles, specializing in adventure travel. My novel, Wai-nani: High Chiefess of Hawai`i, is fabled history couched in magical realism. My ultimate destination piece, it takes you on a journey through ancient Hawai`i to a place you can't get to any other way. Lost Angel Walkabout-One Traveler's Tales is a spirited collection of travel essays recounting the haps and mishaps in my travels over the last decade. Alaska, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Hawaii and the wild west of the USA are represented. More than a travel log, it explores the deep connection all cultures have with thier environment.
