Introduction
Peter Fong moved from Pray, Montana, to Shanghai, China, in 2005. His stories have appeared in many magazines and anthologies, including the Asian Pacific American Journal, the New York Times Sophisticated Traveler, and Tumblewords: Writers Reading the West (University of Nevada Press). Among other occupations, Peter has worked as a proofreader, science teacher, commercial fisherman, and flyfishing guide.
Experience & Expertise
Have traveled extensively in Asia, from Japan to Indonesia, with two small children. Moved to Shanghai in July 2005. Have written about houseboating in the Florida Keys, island resorts in the Maldives, big game fishing in the South China Sea, adoption in Taiwan, flyfishing in Tokyo.
